In 2023, I graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. Like most fresh graduates, I followed the “safe” path. I worked as a Staff Engineer in a manufacturing company for almost two years. I was grateful for the job. It gave me stability. But deep down, I knew something was missing.

I didn’t want to build someone else’s dream forever. I wanted control over my time, income beyond a fixed salary, and growth without limits.

So I made a scary decision — I resigned.

And here’s the truth: my biggest mistake wasn’t starting.

It was not starting sooner.

For years, I told myself “maybe later,” “maybe when I’m ready,” “maybe when I have more savings.” I had the skills, discipline, and work ethic — but I kept delaying the one decision that could have changed my life earlier.
